How to use this guide
This guide will provide you with guidance on how to use components and page templates, the building blocks of webpages within the Charlotte ecosystem. First we’ll introduce you to each of the basic building blocks to get you started. Next we’ll focus on a deep dive for each building block, as well as a section where you can see examples. These example pages can provide guidance and inspiration for your web pages.

What is a component?
A component is a pre-designed piece of content that often comes with some basic elements like text, an image and a button. All you need to do is fill in the content and upload an image, and the design will take care of the rest to make sure your content looks amazing. Components help designs look cohesive across all Charlotte websites.
